The First Women

Awarded as the Best Film for the Audience at the 27th Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes.

The documentary presents a group of women who are close to the 60s and share a common past: they were the base of the first women's soccer team in Brazil.

The experiences they had during their trips around the world playing football in the 80s and 90s, however, did not guarantee them any notoriety. Their stories were never told and the financial return they received at the time was negligible.

The film intimately follows the routine of each one of them in the present day, reflecting where the dreamed plans went, how they deal with memory, choices and aging.
