The relationship between faith and the most popular sport on the planet is observed where it happens most powerfully way: in the city of Salvador, Brazil. This relationship is evident in the way the people of Bahia express themselves: from the stands and dress rooms of the Arena Fonte Nova and the “baba” fields to the Candomblé terreiros and the syncretism of the Festa do Bomfim.
