The Architect HouseThe documentary “Vilanova Artigas: The Architect and the Light” dates back to the trajectory of the iconic latin american architect João Batista Vilanova Artigas.
Through family memories, friends, students, archival footage and visits to six of his major works, the Artigas’s life story is told. Directed by Laura Artigas and Peter Gorski.
Won the APCA Prize in 2016 – Joint Cultural Actions “Artigas 100” and the award for best film of the Portuguese language in the 3rd Architectures Film Festival Lisbon, Portugal, 2015. Screened in colleges and architecture exhibitions in Brazil and Latin America and Canal Brasil.
